About Us

We weren't born by the sea. Our story begins in Črešnjevo, a small village in Croatia's Zagorje region, among green rolling hills, vineyards, and orchards. It's the kind of place where life is quiet and honest - where people greet each other by name, where help is given without being asked, and where the seasons slowly repaint the landscape. Then, many years ago, we came to Pašman for the first time. Not as people who belong to the island, but as people who were about to discover it. And something happened that can't be planned: we fell in love. With the scent of pines and olives, with evenings when the whole island goes quiet, and with mornings when life feels far simpler than anywhere else. That's why Ždrelac grew on us so quickly - not because we grew up here, but because it reminded us of home. Črešnjevo and Ždrelac share the same quiet spirit: small places where people know each other, where a word matters, and where there's no need to prove anything loudly. Only the scenery changes: one has hills and vineyards, the other has the sea and salt. We kept coming back - again and again - one more summer, one more weekend, just to breathe that air once more. Over time, you stop seeing an island like a postcard and start knowing it like a friend. You learn where the best shade is at noon, when the bora clears the air, which path is perfect at dusk, and which cove holds the deepest calm. We've returned for so long that we now know Pašman the way the locals do. For us, this isn't just renting out accommodation. Our wish is simple: that you, too, will feel Pašman the way we did - and that it will stay with you strongly enough to make you want to come back.
