By car to the sea - two ferries, one destination

Two routes bring you to Ždrelac. The classic one: take the A1 motorway to Biograd na Moru, then the Jadrolinija ferry to Tkon (25 minutes, departures every 1-2 hours). From Tkon it's a 15 km drive across Pašman to Ždrelac. The alternative: drive to Zadar, take the Zadar-Preko ferry to Ugljan (25 minutes, frequent departures), then drive 15 km across Ugljan and over the Ždrelac bridge, straight to us. Both routes take about the same time - pick the one with the ferry schedule that suits you best.

Without a car - island freedom

You don't need a car. From Zadar Airport (ZAD), it's about 15 minutes to the city by bus or taxi. From Zadar, the ferry to Preko runs every hour, and from Preko to the Ždrelac bridge it's 15 km - local buses run, or we can help arrange a transfer straight to the apartment. On the island, bike rentals start from €10/day, with delivery to your address.

Before you set off

Check the ferry schedule at jadrolinija.hr - in summer there are more departures, but on weekends and holidays ferries can fill up, so it's smart to arrive a little early. The car park at the Biograd terminal is spacious and affordable. The Ždrelac bridge is free and open 24/7. When you reach the apartment, take off your shoes, open a window, breathe in - the scent of salt, pine, and lavender will tell you you've arrived.
